CompuShare 5.0 offers many features currently not available in our 4.07 version. If you are a 4.07 user, here are some features and highlights of our 5.0 system that may interest you in upgrading to 5.0.

CompuShare 5.0 is now a true 32-bit Windows Program

Users will be able to work more efficiently because they only have to understand the Windows GUI (Graphical User Interface) standard. CompuShare now has full mouse and key level support for Windows. Toolbar buttons (visual cues) and pull down menus are incorporated throughout the system. Hence, navigation from program to program is quicker and more intuitive.

Example 1: Report Viewer

On the older CompuShare 4.0 text System reports could only be viewed through a single program. With the Windows 5.0 System, reports can be directly viewed without leaving the program that created them. The GUI interface enables the entire width of the report to be viewed without the need to scroll. It can be enlarged or shrunk accommodating each users needs. Information is conveyed to the end user much quicker and in an easy-to-read format.

Example 2: Photo ID

The 4.0 text System requires an operator's intervention either display or exit from a picture screen. Due to Windows graphical nature, the new CompuShare can display the picture simultaneously with the member data during over-the-counter posting strengthening your member identification program.
